UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Lecturer in Pharmaceutics. Reporting to the Head of the School of Pharmacy, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of research led teaching, assessment and examining on courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level and where appropriate adult and continuing education courses. In addition, they will be expected to play a significant role in the development and implementation of the new five year integrated MPharm degree programme in Ireland and in developing and delivering new programmes for the international market, including international travel. Engagement in internationally competitive research in the field, including supervision of PhD students, peer-reviewed publications and generation of research income, is essential. External collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Pharmacy profession and other research active institutes will be encouraged.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Below or Above the Bar Salary Scale, dependent on experience: €33,149 - €58,547/ €63,987 - €82,273
In all instances the successful appointment will be at the first point of the scale.
