APM Grade 6.
This is a permanent full time post (35 hours per week).
Main Purpose of the Post
Our students are at the heart of the School of Law - future lawyers and criminologists who will go on to make a difference in the world. The Student Information Office is their first point of contact for support, offered by a growing team that provides advice, pastoral care, and assists with queries to help provide the best possible student experience.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person for this exciting role to deliver efficient and effective student support working as part of a team and assist with the development of the School’s student experience strategy. From induction through to graduation, no two days are the same as you help students along their journey here at Swansea.
Your previous experience in supporting/advising students and staff and your ability to deal with a range of different situations in a sensitive and confidential manner will enable you to hit the ground running. You will also be highly organised, proactive, able to work independently and quickly develop relationships across the School whilst maintaining a student centred approach.
This role does not require any legal (or law) training and is not a career path to a legal or academic role.
