The Political Science and International Relations programme seeks to appoint a permanent Lecturer in Comparative Politics (equivalent to tenured assistant professor), with a specialisation in the study of elections, political parties, and public opinion. The starting date is negotiable.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in quantitative methods. The ability to teach a course in American politics would be an advantage.
A PhD must be in hand prior to taking up the appointment as Lecturer.
This role will require: preparation and delivery of graduate and undergraduate courses in political science; an active research profile; and other teaching or administrative duties as agreed with the Head of School, School of History, Philosophy, Political Studies and International Relations.
