The School of Chemistry wishes to recruit a keen and motivated support technician to work within a skilled and dedicated team of teaching technicians in the Chemistry undergraduate teaching laboratories, Christina Miller building, David Brewster Rd. The successful candidate will be based in a large suite of busy and vibrant teaching labs, which hosts undergraduate chemistry practical classes for not only the School of Chemistry but also other schools within the University including Biological Sciences and Geosciences. Duties will include amongst others; prep/clean down pre/post classes, reagent production, assisting students and equipment care and basic maintenance. The post offers excellent opportunities for growth and development within the sphere of higher education practical teaching.
