Based at the University of Edinburgh’s Easter Bush Campus, the Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre (EBSOC) is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to their team.

Duties will be varied and will include: taking bookings; handling telephone and email enquiries; editing and/or proof reading documents; diary management; gathering information required for reports (including representing information in different formats), maintaining mailing lists, and other administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn. You will be organised, have good attention to detail and a working understanding of IT packages such as Microsoft Office. We would prefer you to be qualified to National 5 level in English and Maths, but National 4 level qualifications will also be considered.

This role will be mentored and supported through a Modern Apprentice programme and it is anticipated that the individual will achieve an SQA level 5 or 6 qualification in Business Administration during their two year term.

This post is available on a fixed term basis, with a working pattern of 35 hours per week for two years.
