Building on the outstanding successes of our previous tenure-track Chancellor’s Fellowship programmes and our world class research performance, the College of Science & Engineering is investing in a further cohort of 10 next generation research innovation leaders of the highest quality with a particular focus on Biotechnology; Living with Data; Extreme Conditions/Astrobiology; Energy; Materials and Manufacture; Risk and Resilience.

The Extreme Conditions theme is led by the School of Physics and Astronomy with appointments also possible in the Schools of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, and GeoSciences.

SALARY SCALE £40,792 - £48,677 (Grade 8 appointments). Exceptionally, an appointment of Grade 9 (£51,630 - £58,089) or even grade 10 (from £59,828) may be made.
