Applications are invited for fully-funded four-year Ph.D. grants for doctoral programmes in each of the EUI’s academic departments. Up to 150 grants are available for programmes starting in September 2019.
Our doctoral programmes lead to Ph.D.s in Economics; History and Civilization; Law; and Political and Social Sciences. Dissertation work is closely supervised, and the structured four-year programme leading to the doctorate typically includes courses on methods and theory, topical seminars and workshops, and academic and professional development training. More than 85% of EUI researchers successfully defend their thesis.
