Sport, Health and Exercise Science is a growing subject area within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull. Continued investment in facilities, equipment, and high quality teaching and research staff has helped build our international reputation. Integral to our success has been a dedication to both teaching and research excellence along with top-class facilities.
You will provide an outstanding student experience to students studying our BSc Sport Rehabilitation programme, and will provide support to the development of our proposed postgraduate programme in Physiotherapy (pre-registration). The post will involve the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, including work placements and dissertations. You will be based in our dedicated facilities within the Don and Washburn Buildings. You will ideally hold an undergraduate and postgraduate qualification and be accredited by a relevant professional body (HCPC, CSP, BASRaT, or equivalent).
The availability of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities supported by dedicated technical staff provides numerous teaching and research opportunities for staff and students. You should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for research and enterprise activities as well as continued professional development.
If you are ambitious, can contribute to our vision and mission, and have the drive to take us forward, we would be delighted to hear from you.
This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check, and is offered at Band 7 (part-time: 0.5 FTE)
