In order to provide cover for maternity leave of an existing member of staff, the School of Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a teaching fellow for a fixed term of 7 months, commencing January 2019. This post will be dedicated to supporting the Exercise Physiology aspects of the BSc Sport and Exercise Science programme, and so an aptitude for teaching and an interest in developing course-management skills is essential.
This post provides an opportunity for a postdoctoral scientist who wishes to develop their skills and experience in teaching and learning in higher education with a view to a future career as a lecturer.
Applicants should hold a PhD and be able to provide evidence of their ability and expertise to teach Physiology / Exercise Physiology up to and including Honours level.
