Salary is competitive with Departments at our peer institutions and commensurate with experience, taking into account pay equity within the Department. The salary scale starts at £65,562 per annum (pay award pending) and can be found on the LSE website 

In addition to the salary, this post may attract significant pay supplements.

The Department of Management is committed in its mission to inform and inspire better management in practice by challenging and extending the understanding of people, teams, organisations and markets, and the economic, psychological, social, political and technological contexts in which they operate worldwide.

The post holder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research, engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Head of Department, and participating in the School and wider Department activities.

Successful applicants will have a PhD in Information Systems or a relevant related field. We are looking at candidates who have a quantitative orientation to research in the Information Systems area. You will have a proven record of outstanding research in the field, as evidenced by existing high-quality publications in top journals such as MISQ, Management Science, and Information Systems Research. Applicants will have a significant track record of excellence in teaching at masters and undergraduate level. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, including an ability to place one's specialist work within a broader social science context. You will also demonstrate a commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students, including pastoral care. The Department’s faculty members are engaged in research and scholarly activity across LSE, through research centres such as the Centre for Economic Performance, the Behavioural Research Lab, and interdisciplinary Institutes.
