Applications are invited for a permanent Lectureship in Data Science, which is available immediately. Subject areas of interest include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and Business Intelligence.
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to high quality teaching, and will lecture on a range of modules related to the field of Data Science. You will be expected to contribute to research or consultancy and engage with external contacts such as industry collaborators, employers, and professional bodies to foster relationships.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant team undertaking research and consultancy with leading employers across South Wales with exciting developments and growing activities in the area of Data Science.
In particular, the teaching will include modules in the recently established MSc in Applied Data Science delivered for the Welsh Data Science Graduate Programme.
