The Institute of Structural Materials (ISM) under the College of Engineering at Swansea University is seeking applications from ambitious and talented individuals to join our research team from January 2019. The ISM has been designated as a major research facility (MRF) on campus by the University, in recognition of the unique combination of academic and commercial activities. 

This 3 month contract provides an opportunity to join an ambitious and highly regarded UK Engineering College, located on a beautiful beachfront campus in the city of Swansea. Swansea is a coastal city that is both picturesque and cosmopolitan, offering an excellent quality of life. Our stimulating, multidisciplinary environment enables and inspires excellence.

The ISM is currently seeking a post-doctoral applicant, in the first instance, against a 3 month project under the EPSRC Strategic Partnership in Structural Metals for Gas Turbines.
