We are continuing our search for top-flight talent to join our diverse department by inviting applications for the role of Assistant Professor with expertise in data and digital economy; new business and economic models for data exchanges, understanding the implications of analytics and machine learning algorithms for real time, on demand economic transactions and services, with their core discipline in Economics, Marketing, Strategy or Operations Management.
We are looking for an ambitious yet collegial individual who will contribute to the existing research streams of HAT (https://hubofallthings.com) and HAT Research (https://hatcommunity.org/research), as well as developing their own research profile within the Group’s remit.
We especially welcome applications from individuals whose research has the potential to contribute to the department’s research agenda in terms of top quality publications, research income and evidence of research impact. The ability to teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is also required for this post to engage the next generation of talent.
The successful candidate will have experience in academia, and a developing track record in working on data and the digital economy in the areas of business models, economic models, data and analytics preferably in Marketing or Operations Management. They will have gained a good honours degree or an equivalent professional qualification along with a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
