The University of Nicosia Medical School offers the following undergraduate medical programmes of study:

  1. The St. George’s, University of London MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
  2. A Doctor of Medicine (MD) 6-year undergraduate entry degree awarded by the University of Nicosia Medical School

Due to the continuous expansion of the Medical School, we are looking for a highly motivated faculty member with relevant academic qualifications and teaching experience in Histopathology. 

The successful candidate will actively support the current programmes as well as the expansion needs of the Medical School and will be encouraged to pursue his/her own independent research programmes. 

Qualifications required

  • MD and/or Doctoral degree (PhD)
  • Research experience
  • Teaching experience 


  • Cover letter stating the faculty position for which the candidate is applying
  • A full Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a list of all publications
  • A one-page research statement describing previous and current research as well as future plans
  • A one-page description of teaching experience
  • Two references
