|Salary:||£33,199 to £39,609 per annum|
|Placed On:||7th December 2018|
|Closes:||3rd January 2019|
Applications are invited for two postdoctoral Research Associates to perform the core research and development tasks of the EPSRC-funded ReEnTrust (“Rebuilding and Enhancing Trust in Algorithms”) project. The posts will be held at the Centre for Intelligent Systems and Their Applications (www.cisa.inf.ed.ac.uk) within the School of Informatics (www.inf.ed.ac.uk) of the University of Edinburgh.
The first of these posts will focus on the development of trust building AI technologies, in particular on defining a framework and computational methods for (semi-)automated mediation and conflict resolution, on evaluation of these techniques in user experiments, and on collaboration with the non-technical parts of the projects. Strong candidates for this position will have a background in multiagent systems, dialogue- and argumentation-based systems, computer-supported cooperative work, or similar areas.
We expect that both postholders will have sufficient relevant experience to understand and help shape the work of the focus of the other post, and collaborate closely with each other and project team members from our partner institutions to deliver the project’s objectives.
These full time positions are available immediately and are fixed term for 24 months.
Enquiries should be directed to Dr Michael Rovatsos: email@example.com.
Closing Date: Thursday 3rd January 2019 at 5pm (GMT)
