The Lincoln School of Engineering was founded in 2009 with HEFCE Development Funding in collaboration with Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery and other employers in the engineering sector, and is co-located with Siemens Global Training Institute. It is the first new engineering school to be established in the UK for decades and has been extraordinarily successful: it was highlighted as a best practice case study in the Government-commissioned Wilson Review (exploring Business-University Collaboration) and awarded a Lord Stafford Award for ground-breaking collaboration between industry and academia in 2011. It was awarded the Times Higher award for Outstanding Employer Engagement in 2012, and the University has been named as one of Siemens’ Global Principal Partner Universities for research.
We are now looking for a Technician to join our team to provide technician support for both teaching and research. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with an electrical/electronics background. Experience of working in an educational environment in a technical support role will be advantageous.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
