|Salary:||£33,199 to £39,609 per annum|
|Placed On:||7th December 2018|
|Closes:||3rd January 2019|
Applications are invited for two postdoctoral Research Associates to perform the core research and development tasks of the EPSRC-funded ReEnTrust (“Rebuilding and Enhancing Trust in Algorithms”) project. The posts will be held at the Centre for Intelligent Systems and Their Applications (www.cisa.inf.ed.ac.uk) within the School of Informatics (www.inf.ed.ac.uk) of the University of Edinburgh.
The second post will focus on practical tool development, implementing prototypes of conflict mediation systems and supporting their deployment and use with different groups of trial users. We expect that the project will deliver a series of increasingly mature demonstrators for such systems in parallel to the development of a more conceptual and theoretical development of new techniques. Strong candidates for this position will have exceptional software engineering and web programming skills, as well as experience in user interface design and evaluation.
We expect that both postholders will have sufficient relevant experience to understand and help shape the work of the focus of the other post, and collaborate closely with each other and project team members from our partner institutions to deliver the project’s objectives.
These full time positions are available immediately and are fixed term for 24 months.
Enquiries should be directed to Dr Michael Rovatsos: email@example.com.
Closing Date: Thursday 3rd January 2019 at 5pm (GMT)
