The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,574 - £33,487 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Research Hub and Network Coordinator will work in the Department of Chemistry at UCL’s Bloomsbury Campus on research supervised by Professor Jawwad Darr. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated group working at the interface of chemistry, physics, engineering, nanomaterials, energy materials and global research challenges.
The postholder will coordinate a large EPSRC funded Energy Materials Hub, The JUICED (Joint University-Industry Consortium for Energy Materials and Devices) Hub as well as the UP-SIGN Network (UK-Pakistan Science and Innovation Global Network). The postholder will be required to plan, organize and facilitate research meetings and networking events and be responsible for providing financial and research updates to funding bodies.
The appointment is funded for 24 months initially and is available to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate must have experience in coordinating large research projects and organising, running and facilitating research, networking events and global challenges research. A knowledge of the preceding particularly within the context of Pakistan is desirable. They must also have effective written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
