To celebrate our 2021 bicentenary of pioneering research, we are now looking to appoint an Associate Professor on a Teaching and Research Contract to join The Centre for Sustainable Road Freight (SRF), School of Social Sciences. You will have a proven research and teaching track record in at least one of the following: Supply chain management and logistics; Data science (including big data analytics); Computer simulation; Technology management.
Your responsibilities will include: designing, building and submitting research funding proposals and the management of allocated research projects within the Centre. As part of your role you will also design, build, deliver and assess Masters and Undergraduate level taught courses. As such it is essential that you have the experience in undergraduate or postgraduate course design, content and assessment development, and delivery.
As a successful candidate, you are expected to have a PhD in a topic related to at least one of the following: sustainability, logistics, supply chain management, computer simulation or technology management. You will have the experience of working in large research teams, writing successful research proposals and high quality papers published in high impact journals.
