The School of The Built Environment and Architecture at LSBU has excellent links with industry, commerce and the professions, which together with first class applied research make us exceptionally well equipped to offer our students industry-relevant education.
We seek an innovative and results-oriented professional to contribute to teaching, research, enterprise, and other academic duties in Quantity Surveying and Project Management in Construction.
The successful candidate will have a strong research profile, be an effective communicator and teacher, able to supervise research students, and committed to collegial practice and to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.
You will have a Bachelors and a Postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying and Project Management in Construction, and professional work experience in the same field. A PhD is essential.
You will have teaching experience of Quantity Surveying and the general areas of Project Management in Construction, and will hold a professional qualification in the related areas of quantity surveying and project management in construction.
Specialist knowledge and skills, indicative of ability to teach in both specialist and generalist roles across the curriculum in Quantity Surveying and Project Management in Construction is required.
You will be required to carry out research and/or consultancy or other professional and scholarly activities in the field of Quantity Surveying and Project Management in Construction.
