As Professor you are expected to exercise a special responsibility in providing academic leadership and in fostering excellence in research, teaching, and related professional engagement and activities within the School and Centre for Creative Industries.
You will be required to undertake teaching and research in your chosen area of expertise, and contribute to teaching and research (including supervision of higher degree research students) performance and engagement activities.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.
As Professor, your PhD will be in a discipline relevant to the Creative Industries. You will have demonstrated skills and leadership in curriculum development at the higher education level, with an exceptional ability in the administration of courses and programs. Along with a demonstrated record in producing quality research with international significance, you will have proven success in attracting both internal and external research funding.
A salary package that includes a base professorial salary of $175,772 per annum and an employer superannuation contribution of 17% of base salary will be offered. Attractive salary packaging arrangements are also available.
