Northumbria University is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars of Criminology and Criminal Justice to join our team. Criminology at Northumbria continues to grow, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including with the development of BSc Policing and Police Constable Degree Apprenticeships for Northumbria Police.
Criminology at Northumbria includes world-leading researchers concerned with policing and criminal justice; social harm; environmental crime and victimology. We are particularly interested in scholars with interests in the broad field of policing and concerned with issues such as police occupational cultures, the professionalisation of policing and models and styles of policing; however, we welcome applications from any criminologist who will expand and complement our expertise.
You will have outstanding research outputs and clear research plans for the future including around grant capture. You will utilise this expertise to deliver outstanding research informed teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
