Would you like to develop your career with a Top 100 employer? The University of Sheffield has been ranked number 25 in the Sunday Times best not-for-profit organisations to work for in 2017. If you are passionate about the value that management information, insight and business intelligence can add to an organisation and believe that you can directly contribute to that, then we would love to hear from you.
As part of the Data Warehouse Project, you will assist in gathering business intelligence requirements across the University, using your own knowledge of the business and HE data to inform the creation of a data warehouse and associated Reporting Hub. You will work as part of a team of analysts with the responsibility for translating the needs of the business into a technical reporting solution and work with Subject Matter Experts across Professional Services to successfully deliver a coherent reporting offer. You will contribute to data governance to ensure the long term structure of the warehouse is fit for purpose and that the data that resides within it is well documented and builds trust across the University. You will have a good understanding of HE data, reporting solutions, relevant business processes as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be driven, meticulous and be willing and able to move in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
