To make a leading contribution to a project: Multiscale inference for understanding collective animal movement working with Dr. Colin Torney and Prof. Dirk Husmeier. Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in mathematical modelling, statistical inference, and high-performance computing.
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7, £35,210 - £39,610 per annum.
This post is full time with funding up to 2 years in the first instance.
New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.
