The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £37,412 - £44,015 per annum inclusive of £3,223 London Weighting Allowance per annum or Grade 7, £45,259 - £53,355 per annum inclusive of £3,223 London Weighting Allowance per annum, depending upon experience.
We have an exciting opportunity for a researcher with a background in nutrition or dietetics to be appointed to the post of Lecturer in Nutritional Sciences (full time, 1.0 FTE). The post will be based at the College’s Waterloo campus.
The post holder will establish a research programme aligned with one of the current research groups of the Department of Nutritional Sciences (Metal Metabolism; Diet & Gastrointestinal Health; Diet & Cardiometabolic Health; Population Health & Nutrition). We welcome applications from researchers aligned with any one of these themes but are particularly interested in those with expertise in either (i) Epidemiology or human intervention studies in minerals e.g. iron, zinc; or (ii) Diet:microbiome interactions. The appointee will have a record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals, applying for research funding, and supervising research staff and students.
The appointee will also teach on all programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels offered by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
This post will be offered on an indefinite.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
