Applications are invited for this strategically critical role in the Faculty of Science and Engineering for appointment in summer 2019. The post holder will provide the academic leadership and management to ensure that the Department makes a full contribution towards the objectives of the School of Engineering, the Faculty and the University. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated and successful Faculty to increase research and teaching capacity/capability and deliver innovation in all areas.
We seek an ambitious and effective individual with a proven track record in their field. We are looking for an innovative leader, able to lead a cohesive, constructive, effective and inclusive team to the highest of standards. A proven track record of managing diverse resources in a university environment is essential and previous experience as a Head of Department or School (or an equivalent unit) would be an advantage.
