For over 50 years the University of Strathclyde Law School has been educating lawyers who want to make a difference to today’s world. Due to our rapid growth trajectory and ambitions for the future, we are seeking a range of talented individuals to augment our current staffing profile. One of our key strategic areas for appointment is in Scots Criminal Law.

The appointee will generate research of international excellence and will co-ordinate and teach undergraduate classes in relevant subject areas. They will contribute to the collegial, supportive and energetic research culture in the law school.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline, be able to demonstrate a body of published work in high quality publications and have an ability to secure research funding. Candidates should also possess relevant teaching experience and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
