The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £43,884 - £51,769 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit is a specialist unit set up within the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology with a specific remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed studies.
The Comprehensive CTU is a registered CTU that provides clinical, statistics and trial operations oversight and facilitates the delivery of high quality, clinical trials of both investigational medicinal products (IMPs) in compliance with the UK Regulations and other non-IMP trials and studies.
An enthusiastic, committed and professional individual is sought for the role of Clinical Project Manager, which is based on the Bloomsbury campus, London. The primary role of the post holder is to establish, implement and support delivery of high quality clinical trials. The post holder will project manage a portfolio of trials and support a team of Trial Managers and Data Managers. The post holder will be a member of the management team for the Clinical Operations Team, together with the HCTO, Data Management Services, Quality Assurance, and the other Clinical Project Managers.
The successful applicant must possess a postgraduate degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials, as well as a comprehensive understanding of UK Clinical Trials Regulations, ICH Good Clinical Practice, the European Directives on Clinical Trials and Good Clinical Practice and the Department of Health’s Research Governance Framework. Experience of working in a clinical trial regulatory environment is also required.
Experience of staff supervision or line management is essential.
Experience of trials of Advanced Therapies, Devices, Platform/complex trial designs or International trials would be an advantage.
