The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia Pacific region. RSIS invites applications for the position of:-
Senior Fellow/Research Fellow
(Maritime Security Programme)
The successful applicant is expected to contribute significantly to the research agenda of the Programme on contemporary maritime security issues in the Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean regions.
The successful candidate will develop, manage and provide direction in teaching and research on areas including but not limited to maritime developments in the region, naval policy and strategies, and particular threats and challenges in the maritime domain. Demonstrated knowledge of maritime security and naval affairs, the law of the sea, as well as oceans-related policies (for example, shipping, marine environment, etc.) is a basic requirement.
The successful candidate will also need to design and teach up to two (2) courses in the School’s postgraduate programmes. Candidate should possess a PhD in a relevant field or have substantial relevant working experience.
