The successful candidate will be expected to play a substantial role in the development and delivery of teaching across one or more of these programmes and provide specialist support for final-year projects and/or masters dissertations. • Digital economy (including IOT, trust, privacy and security)

It is expected that the successful appointee will have the potential to contribute high quality research that enhances at least one of above departmental research areas, through journal publication, research income generation and engagement with stakeholders.

  • Campus environment in West London, close to Heathrow airport and major transport hubs, with onsite health and fitness facilities, shops, cafes and hotel.
  • An academic lifecycle policy that offers a reduced teaching load to probationary staff during the first two years of appointment and an expected trajectory from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer within four years of appointment.
  • 30 days of annual leave plus public holidays and university closure dates (currently 12 days additional days in total).
  • Family friendly policies.
  • Rewards programme including awards for excellence and access to a range of discounts.

The Department of Computer Science holds an Athena Swan Bronze award and is keen to grow the proportion of women at all levels where they are under-represented.
