The School of Politics and International Relations is delighted to announce the availability of 4 scholarship opportunities to study on one of our MA programmes for the 2019/20 academic year.

MA fee waivers (50%)

Number available: Four

Value of Award: 50% of fee for home or EU students

These awards will be offered on a competitive basis, and we welcome applications from full-time and part-time students. Applications are ranked by a School panel, whose judgement is final.

To be considered for these awards you must:

  • Be in receipt of an offer of a place on an MA in the School of Politics and International Relations by 19 June 2019 AND
  • Write a blog post of no more than 750 words on a contemporary political or international relations issue that interests you. The content should be lively and engaging for a general audience and does not need footnotes. The scholarship winners may have their piece posted on the school’s high profile blog ‘Ballots and Bullets’.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 19 June 2019.

Successful candidates will have the awards paid by the School to the University on their behalf upon registration in September 2019.
