Kide S. Coop., is a business Group manufacturer of cold rooms, insulation panels, insulated doors, refrigeration units and drying units, offering a integral and unique solution on the market.

Main functions

The Research & Development Manager will be responsible for the studies and design of the product as well as its development, optimizing its catalog by improving its quality, functionality, aesthetics and cost.

Reporting to the Industrial Director, the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Based on company policies, define and manage action plans and objectives, advising the Management in all aspects related to the process of PRODUCT INNOVATION in relation to refrigeration equipment.
  • Analyze the process and adapt to the strategy and goals established, proposing and implementing the necessary modifications and improvements.
  • Technologically develop the product in order to ensure competitiveness both for quality and price.
  • Collect the necessary information and define the starting data of the design in collaboration with the Commercial Management.
  • Coordinate and supervise the design and approve the documentation of it.
  • Define the verifications, checks and tests to be performed on the prototypes and participate in the design review.
  • Analyze and decide the treatment of design modifications for the improvement of current products.
  • Participate in the analysis of customer complaints, proposing the establishment of corrective and preventive actions and improvement.
  • Prepare, control, update and archive the Quality and Procedures manuals:
    • Comply with and enforce the legislation and regulations on Occupational Risk Prevention and the Quality and Environmental management systems implemented in the company.

Requisites

  • Grade Engineering
  • Experience of ideally 5 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in the design and development of NH3 power plants, CO2 equipment, etc.
  • Good level of spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • With organizational capacity to manage improvement projects in their area of competence.
  • Responsibility and initiative.
