We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to have a significant input into establishing, leading, and developing a high calibre, internationally facing BA (Hons) Marketing programme, within a vibrant and dynamic Art School in the centre of Moscow.

The British Higher School of Art & Design has been at the forefront of Art & Design education in Russia for the past 15 years and is establishing an international reputation as a provider of high quality, innovative and creative undergraduate and pre-degree Art & Design programmes. As with all of our undergraduate Degree provision the BA (Hons) Marketing programme is validated by our partner institution, The University of Hertfordshire.

Building upon the success of our existing Art & Design undergraduate provision, we are in the process of introducing an exciting portfolio of three new BA (Hons) Marketing awards which commenced with the successful launch of BA (Hons) Marketing and Advertising in September 2018. This will be followed by the launch of BA (Hons) Marketing with Digital Communications in September 2019 and BA (Hons) Marketing in September 2020. We have also developed and launched a Level 3 Foundation in Business and Marketing programme which supports progression to Level 4.

Moscow provides an environment saturated with opportunities for creative and marketing professionals, which coupled with the school’s local status and industry contacts, allows the programme to incorporate these into an exceptional student experience.

The school has a contemporary, international atmosphere with all Learning and Teaching in English. Knowledge of Russian language is not necessary for the post although lessons are provided to staff wishing to learn.

The post holder will be joining our team at the start of the second year of our Marketing roll out and will share leadership responsibilities with our existing BA (Hons) Marketing programme leader.

This is a unique and important appointment which presents the postholder with the opportunity to play a significant role in the overall development of a new area of provision within the school. We are therefore looking for applicants with experience of making a significant contribution to the development, leadership and management of HE and/or FE Marketing programmes within a UK educational framework.

Applicants will be ambitious and highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and be team players with the ability to inspire, lead and manage staff and students.

For a full overview of the post along with details as to how to apply please visit our vacancy page at

Salary: 40,000–58,000 GBP. Monthly salary will be paid in the Russian Ruble equivalent of the agreed GBP monthly salary rate. Russian Income Tax is currently set at a flat rate of 13%.

Additional benefits: The School provides visa support, medical insurance, flights, relocation assistance including finding accommodation, Russian language classes, and 35 days annual leave.

Place of work: Moscow, Russia. The School is within an Arts district located close to the city centre being just 1 stop from Red Square and within close proximity to several metro lines.

Interviews: Interviews will be held through video conferencing / Skype on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th June 2019.
