WMG Solid State Battery [SSB] Test and Data Analysis engineer [MOSESS]

WMG is a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick. We currently have an exciting opportunity to carry out research on a challenging, multi-partner project on solid-state batteries [SSB]. The project is a recently awarded two-year Innovate UK research project MoSESS (Multi optimal Solutions for Energy Storage Systems) in collaboration with McLaren, A123-UK, Ilika and the University of Birmingham.

In this post, you will work to develop and apply testing techniques to novel SSB cell and module designs, giving input to the consortium via technical reports and technical reviews. Key objectives are to define test methods, schedules, execute tests, analyse test data and report findings. Those tests should identify the key electrochemical and thermal characteristics of novel SSB cell and module designs.

In return we will provide a great range of benefits which include an attractive pension scheme, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure, some fantastic savings on a wide range of products and services, and excellent learning and development opportunities.
