The UEA Wellbeing Advisory team offer specialist student-centred advice and guidance and deliver therapeutic support to students with a wide variety of mental health difficulties.
The Wellbeing Training Manager will have responsibility for the coordination of wellbeing training sessions, workshops and groups for staff and students across the university.
They will also be part of the team delivering training in mental health first aid (MHFA), suicide prevention, mental health and disability awareness as well as contributing to the development and delivery of student facing wellbeing and therapeutic workshops.
The post holder will be trained as a trainer in specific programmes, such as Mental Health First Aid, and be responsible for the delivery of these training programmes to relevant members of the university community. In addition, the post holder will contribute to bespoke training programmes, therapeutic workshops and groups relating to wellbeing to be delivered to the staff and student population.
The post is available immediately on an indefinite full-time basis, however we are happy to accept applications for part time and job share options also.
This appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
