Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Gravitational Physics. The post is available initially for a fixed-term duration of 1 year.
The postholder would contribute to the ERC funded AG project “Large Scale Structure constraints on General Relativity” with a very specific focus of undertaking analytical and numerical estimates of gravitational wave production from black hole mergers in theories of modified gravity.
Applicants should possess, or be very close to completing a doctorate in physics or a related field and ideally a strong background in general relativity, black holes and gravitational waves.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate how they have worked in a team towards a specified goal, and have a publication record commensurate with their experience.
The post-holder will have the opportunity to teach.
Please direct enquiries about the role to Professor Pedro G Ferreira email@example.com
You will be required to upload a brief statement of research interests, CV and details of two referees as part of your online application. Referees are also required to submit their references to: firstname.lastname@example.org by the closing date.
