The Department of Marketing, Griffith Business School, has a strong and active research focus, with a strong history of research grants, consultancies, community engagement, refereed journal publication and successful PhD student completions. Within the Department we have an Academic Centre which focuses on Social Marketing. A recent study by Soutar et al. in The Australasian Journal of Marketing ranked the department 3rd in Australia for its research output. In the most recent ERA rating by discipline, the Department of Marketing was rated 4 (‘above world standard’).

The opportunity
We are currently looking for a teaching focused Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Marketing. This position will be based at the Gold Coast campus. This position will play an active role in the Bachelor of Business programs at the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses, as well as contributing to the Master of Marketing and MBA prog ram and the Discipline of Marketing. This role includes contributing to learning and teaching, scholarship and service activities. You will have a strong commitment and track record in contemporary marketing and marketing education, curriculum design and be an active researcher.

This is a continuing, full time position is based at the Gold Coast campus, however the successful candidate may also be required to work on other campuses of the University as required.

About you
The successful applicant will possess a PhD focused on research relevant to Marketing. You will be able to provide evidence of collaboration with industry and community groups to develop networks at a local level, coupled with demonstrated expertise in marketing. In addition you will be able to work effectively in a team to actively contribute toward teaching activities, including developing, delivering and evaluating high quality, innovative marketing courses.

Salary range
Senior Lecturer, Level C: $115,593 - $133,289 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $135,244 - $155,949 per annum.
