Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Saïd Business School. Reporting to, and under the direction of Professor Michael Smets, the postholder will be based within the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation (CCR), and will work closely with members of the School’s faculty on research that critically evaluates the relationship between values and reputations, through the lenses of institutional, practice and innovation theories.

The successful candidate will be responsible for key research activities such as (but not limited to) gathering and cleaning data, analysing data using appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods, reviewing literature, writing academic papers, presenting research findings to academic and practitioner audiences, and handling day-to-day research project management tasks. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to publish in premier peer-reviewed academic journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Studies), and be prepared to contribute to policy-related and practitioner-oriented outputs.

The successful candidate will hold, or be nearing completion, of a relevant PhD/DPhil in a discipline relevant to the centre (e.g. management, strategy, organisation theory, sociology, history, and international business, or a closely related field). The Fellow will possess the ability to engage with and contribute to the core literature(s), and have the ability to publish in premier management, organisation, and reputation journals (e.g., FT 50 journals).
