The City Law School is the first in London and the only in the University of London to educate students and practitioners at all stages of legal education. It has a professional education pedigree that dates back over 160 years. The School has made significant advances in both research and education and seeks to build upon that success to become one of the UK’s leading law schools as it takes advantage of the new regulatory landscape for legal education. The School offers a complete portfolio of legal education and training including undergraduate and postgraduate Law degrees, the Bar Professional Training Course, the Legal Practice Course and post-qualification Continuing Professional Development.
The School is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer on its Legal Practice Course. He or she will design and deliver course modules and associated assessments; support and mentor postgraduate students; and contribute to curriculum development and innovation.
The appointed candidate will be a graduate with a good honours degree (or equivalent) and a qualified Solicitor with a proven track record of excellence in delivering outstanding education and contributing to a high-quality student experience.
For appointment as Senior Lecturer, the appointed candidate will have significant experience in legal practice or of delivering excellent education with course administration and course development.
