An Education Programmes Manager is sought to join the Data Science Institute. This diverse role involves the development and support for the delivery of data science education for taught master’s programmes, PhD training programmes, summer schools and executive education students. The post holder will have particular responsibility to proactively manage the implementation of an MRes in Applied Data Science and an industry funded doctoral training programme in Data Science.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to help shape new teaching initiatives within the Institute. The post will support the Course Director for the MRes, building relationships with potential industry placements, aiding curriculum development and ensuring the smooth running of the programme. Alongside this, the post holder will offer administrative support to the existing DSI education commitments, such as co-ordinating and developing our executive education programmes with the Business School, co-ordinating the DSI teaching commitments on departmental taught courses, contributing to the Institute’s education strategy and connecting Data Science teaching across the College.
Candidates will be highly motivated, have meticulous attention to detail and specialist knowledge in programme course planning and course modulation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic to learn and deliver a wide range of education programmes across many platforms, with the opportunity to grow with the role. The post could be offered FT or PT with a minimum of .7FTE.
