Opportunities at a Leading Business School

Cardiff Business School is widely regarded as one of the leading business and management schools in the UK, ranked 6th in the UK for the quality of its research in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF).   The School has a Public Value mission and is focused on generating a wider impact on the economy and society through interdisciplinary research and study, oriented around societal grand challenges, such as the climate emergency, economic inequality and decent work.

The School is embarking on a major faculty investment in support of its Public Value mission.  Recruitment is open to a large number of early career appointments across the School’s core areas of activity – Accounting and Finance; Economics; Logistics and Operations Management; Management, Employment and Organization and Marketing and Strategy;  in addition to a Senior Lecturer/Reader in Logistics and Operations Management and a Chair in Accounting.

The Lecturer appointments (Grades 6 and 7) will be made across all five of the School’s disciplines areas. These posts are full-time (35 hours per week), advertised on an open-ended basis.

Salary: £33,199 - £39,609 per annum (Grade 6) or
            £42,036 - £48,677 per annum (Grade 7)

We are interested in applicants from all disciplines within this area, in particular, applicants with interests corresponding to our research groups and centres in corporate governance, critical accounting, empirical finance or taxation and who can also contribute to our undergraduate, postgraduate taught and doctoral degree programs.
