Would you like to apply your passion and expertise in research management to help ensure our charity maximises its contribution to changing children’s lives?

We are looking for a talented individual who is keen to broaden their horizons beyond traditional research management, by joining Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) as our Head of Grants Funding and Impact.  This newly created post will play an absolutely pivotal role in the strategic development of a large, diverse and varied portfolio of grants which extends further than our ambitious 5-year research strategy, to cover other hospital priority areas such as technology & data, and patient & family experience.

Leading a small specialist team in funding and impact, you will need to develop strong relationships over a wide network of the charity, hospital, UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH) and UCL to ensure agreed funding priorities are implemented.

In order to secure this exciting opportunity, you will specifically need to have:

  • An advanced research degree (PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive research / grants management experience
