The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6.

The salary range will be £28,574 - £30,922 per annum , inclusive of London Allowance.

An experienced research technician is required to support Profs Persis Amrolia and John Anderson’s Gene and Cell Therapy Teams on clinical trials of T-cell therapy for leukaemia, lymphoma and neuroblastoma, as well as other projects under development. Key roles will include, providing hands-on technical support in a GMP Manufacture clean-room environment, the preparation and management of manufacture stock, and the preparation of manufacture documentation.

This post is available for 16 months or until 31/10/2020 in the first instance.

Applicants must have a BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area. Experience of working in a research or clinical laboratory, and experience of cell culture and flow cytometry. You must have familiarity with the day to day running of a laboratory or clean room facility. Experience working in a clean room/GMP facility and knowledge of GCP and/or GMP requirements is desirable. Good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail is essential. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or using own initiative is essential.
