Applications are invited for the post of Research and Teaching Technician in the School of Biological Sciences.

The School of Biological Sciences requires an experienced technician to provide technical support for research in the Centre for Biomedical Sciences.  

You will have proven experience of working in a research laboratory environment, have technical knowledge and understanding of key procedures in a biomedical sciences setting, as aligned with the job description and person specification. You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratories, equipment and associated facilities, and the ability to interact effectively with all members of the school, at academic, technical and student level. For a fixed period of the year technical support is required for teaching practicals across the subject area, this is not a teaching role.

This is a full time and permanent post available from 1st June 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
