The English Language Centre is currently undergoing an exciting period of change and growth, having relocated to the prestigious Bush House complex and investing in its people. The Foundation programme is driving growth and diversity into undergraduate degrees across all Faculties of King’s College London. Our mission is to help those with potential to succeed in their chosen field.
This post is a great opportunity to join the team delivering a successful international foundation year programme. This role will be leading on the teaching and development of the Maths for Social Sciences module, as well as teaching across related areas. This module is aimed at preparing bright international students for a range of degree programmes at KCL.
Experience in developing critical thinking, seminar discussion skills, and independent study skills would be advantageous, as would experience of flipping content.
This post is being recruiting at 0.6 fte working 3.5 days a week for 35 weeks (2nd September 2019 – 4th May 2020), and 2 days a week for 17 weeks of the year (11th May 2020 to 31st August 2020).
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
21 hours per week – 60% FTE.
