We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with relevant experience of working with adults with Autistic Spectrum Conditions in a one to one setting.

This challenging part-time sessional post requires knowledge of curriculum delivery and forms of assessment with experience of undertaking study skills tuition and other support functions for students in higher education. Candidates should also have comprehensive training in adult autism, ideally 5 National Autistic Society core online modules and/or a Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Autism or other recognised qualification in the field of autism. Excellent interpersonal skills, plus an awareness of boundaries and of other professional and ethical issues are also essential attributes.

We expect to recruit candidates to work a variety of evenings during semester periods (semester dates available on the University of Edinburgh website). This may involve working between two and four evenings per week, on a sessional basis with the specific days of the week being negotiated by the candidate and the Student Disability Service.

It is expected that interviews will take place on 11 July 2019.
