This project will be conducted in collaboration with GKN Aerospace Ltd. The project aims to characterise the long-term behaviour of a glass fibre filled thermoplastic composites. The project will utilise a combination of thermoanalytical and mechanical testing to understand and predict the behaviour of the composite system in service.
