This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate with the ability and confidence to work in state-of-the-art applied Machine Learning (ML) at the School of Computer Science.
The University of Manchester is looking to recruit a research associate to undertake this 17 month project which has the overall aim of building applied ML models using Neuro-Symbolic models.
The position will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to apply state-of-the-art methods in Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) and Computational Semantics in the scope of different partnerships with industrial and academic collaborators in the area of clinical trials.
Candidates will require either a strong MSc or PhD, in a science/engineering subject and academic or industrial experience in the area of applied Machine Learning. The candidate should have software development experience in Java or Python (preferred).
