About the role

By joining Arden University, you will be working with a dynamic team of academic lecturers and support staff. Arden University is a contemporary university offering students flexibility and the opportunities to learn online and through a blended approach to learning.

The programmes that you will teach on are the joint honours awards with Criminology and the specialist modules on the Foundation Year Pathway.

We are looking for academics with teaching experience who are keen to see others succeed, can work independently, are comfortable to deliver teaching using a range of multi-media platforms and have the flexibility to fit with Arden’s active learning environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant postgraduate degree in Criminology 
  • Proven ability to deliver student-centred teaching
  • Experience of teaching and assessing at level 4 and above within the UK HE sector
  • Have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one

Desirable Criteria

  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments and other technologies to support learning
  • Ability to attend staff training events at our Coventry Head Office
  • Research or professional experience commensurate with career stage
