Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford colleges, is looking for a permanent Scout (Cleaner). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the housekeeping team on a part-time basis to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the College.

This post provides an ideal opportunity to join one of the largest departments in the College where a high level of service is provided. The role will involve dusting, vacuuming, polishing and general cleaning of rooms and areas across the College. Successful candidates need to have cleaning experience, good communication skills, attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team.                                                                                                           

The working hours are 20 hours a week (4 hours a day, usually mornings) on a rota basis. You may be required to work additional hours at weekends and particularly during conference periods according to the Housekeeper’s roster. 

Holiday entitlement is 25 days (to include 5 days at Christmas, plus public/bank holidays) during a complete holiday year, pro rata for part time hours and fixed term.
